Welcome! This is a website that everyone can build together. It's easy!

Protocol - Task: Participant Directions

Today you will be asked to conduct the research portion of a hypothetical assignment. We are not testing your research ability, but the research tool being used to find articles. Again, you are not being tested or evaluated in any way.

You will be searching for articles using the following two methods:

  1. Searching databases individually. You may search as many of the recommended databases as you choose.

  2. Searching multiple databases simultaneously using a research tool we call QuickSearch Sets. QuickSearch Sets allow you to search multiple article databases simultaneously.

Take as much time as you need to compile a list of enough citations to complete your hypothetical research assignment. Copy and paste each chosen citation into a Microsoft Word document. These citations do not have to be in any particular order or format (such as MLA or APA).

There is no set number of citations you need to gather for this hypothetical research assignment. You are allowed to determine what “enough article citations” means. Gather the number of relevant article citations that you feel would be sufficient for completing this hypothetical research assignment.
